I am generally successful in my efforts to engage and work with children and families because my thinking and perspective were shaped by extensive professional (and personal) experiences and advanced academic training. My work is an art. My areas of expertise include:

• Grief and Loss…. are part of everyday life and associated with adoption, infertility, disability, divorce/separation, losing a job, death, suicide, illness, life transitions, and remarriage/recoupling.

• Family Issues…are as unique as the family itself.

• Transitions…are changes of little impact to the more difficult such as the empty nest, moving, changing jobs, or entering a new developmental stage.

• Boundaries…are necessary to help us from becoming too stressed, taken advantage of, and overwhelmed.

It would be a privilege to assist you through these difficult times. I am not, however, a licensed counselor and I do not accept insurance.
