Thank you for stopping in to read about me and my services! I am a Human Services Professional with over 30 years experience working with children and families in diverse settings – child welfare, juvenile services, adoption, education (K-12, community college, graduate school), parent education, mediation, facilitation, and custody evaluation. I have been in private practice as a Mediator and Consultant since 1999. I believe the family is the most important social unit in our society – strong families make a strong society. Every individual is unique and so is every family. My expertise stems from my awareness and appreciation for the intricacies of each family system, which in turn determines how I work with that particular family. I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach for working with families. I am committed to excellence in my practice and continually work to expand my knowledge and improve my skills. My PhD is in Human Services from Capella University and my dissertation was An Exploratory Study of Adolescents’ Experiences with their Divorced Parents’ Parenting Plans. I am a Human Services – Board Certified Professional, a member of the National Organization for Human Services, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Oregon Mediation Association. You can find the Forms I use in my practice on the Forms page. Some are also listed in the green ribbon at the top of the page in a drop-down menu under the topic. An overview of my fees is in my Office Policies document. |
